Emily Boschert (Cooper) and The Healing Wisdom Medicine Center prioritizes the health and safety her patients and their communities at all times. Stringent cleaning protocols are followed to include policies that will maximize the safety of her patients and clinic, as detailed below.
Enhanced Cleaning
Enhanced cleaning procedures have been employed to ensure surfaces and primary touchpoints are disinfected after each appointment and at the end of each day. The center has air filters in each room that exceed HEPA requirements, and is cleaned using cleaners approved by the CDC as protective to Coronavirus (Sars-Cov-2). Each appointment will be scheduled with a 15 minutes delay after the appointment prior to permit a thorough disinfection and patient overlap. Between each appointment, rooms will be thoroughly disinfected, sheets will be discarded, and surfaces will be cleaned. Emily sanitizes her hands before, during, and after each patient interaction and has made hand sanitizer available for each patient upon entry.
Patient Screening
Emily asks that any current patient experiencing, or exposed to someone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (shortness of breath, fever, cough, new loss of taste or smell, or nausea) contact her to reschedule/cancel their in-person appointment. The cancellation fee will be waived in these cases and care through her virtual services is an option during time of quarentine. All healthy patients with scheduled appointments will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms 24 hours prior to their in-office appointment. In addition, for the safety of all, we ask that no guests accompany patients to their appointments unless previously approved.
Personal Protective Equipment
As practitioner, Emily will wear a surgical mask at all times and newly laundered clothing in the center. Patients are no longer required to wear a face mask, though are welcome to if preferred. Additionally, patient appointments will be spaced to minimize overlap will occur in waiting areas. Further, each appointment will be scheduled with a 15 minutes delay after the appointment prior to permit time to thoroughly disinfect the treatment room between each patient.
